After opening our online Budwig store, we quickly ran into a dead-end when we tried to sell our supplements.
It turns out that many banks and payment processors view natural supplements, which people have been using for thousands of years, as risky as firearms and tobacco.
You can imagine our surprise and confusion when we found this out. Having no other choice, we frantically started to look and search for alternatives to accept card payments. Weeks went by, then months, and then a whole year. And during this whole time, we had our faithful customers writing to us in confusion:
“Why can’t I pay with my credit card anymore?”
Thankfully, we have finally made a breakthrough.
The Breakthrough
Precisely a year after we started looking, we were finally able to find a solid provider, and we managed to set up card payments on our store.
