Colonic Irrigation and Detoxification For Cancer Prevention

The National Cancer Institute has estimated that during 2017 there will be 1.7 million new cancer cases in the United States alone. And these numbers are rising year after year, but what is the main reason for this dramatic increase?

Dr. Budwig’s research found that the “cause” of cancer is due to a combination of factors; microorganisms (a virus, fungus, bacteria, or parasite), a weak immune system and a hormonal disturbance, or toxins not being eliminated from our body. Of these, what has changed over the past century that has provoked such an increase in cancer cases? In one word ‘toxins’! We are living in a virtual ‘toxic soup’, from the air that we breathe to the water we drink and the food we eat, we are being overloaded with chemicals and toxins that did not exist in such high quantities a century ago.

Tobacco smoke, bad nutrition, physical inactivity, and exposure to environmental carcinogens are estimated to be responsible for 75-80% of cancer cases and death in the US.

A whopping 2 million metric tons of pesticides are used annually in fields where our crops are grown. Chromium Cr IV is commonly used when making leather goods, it has been reported that leather tanneries often operate with little control, and every single day they produce approximately 88 million tons of solid toxic waste. The health issues this toxic waste causes range from respiratory problems and heart failure to various forms of cancer.

In addition, our food supply is contaminated with more than 3,000 chemicals which are added intentionally to enhance the flavor, appearance, and shelf life.

Every day we wash the ‘outside’ of our body, but when do we cleanse the ‘inside’? At Budwig Cancer Center, we adhere to the principle that one must first cleanse and detox the body before it can really heal. That is why we use colon hydrotherapy, which is the gentle rinsing of the colon with warm water, to remove encrusted fecal matter, gas, and mucus.

Once you clean and detox the digestive tract this allows vital nutrients to be absorbed more easily and leaves you feeling rejuvenated and healthier. Colonics can also help re-tone & reshape the colon. Without a doubt, a healthy well-functioning bowel is essential for maintenance and optimal health.

The reason the intestine is such a vital organ and so closely connected to the immune system is due to the way it processes the molecules and digested food passing into the bloodstream. If the food is not digested well or contains many toxins, this creates molecules that behave like antigens or allergens (producing allergies). When these enter the bloodstream our body generates antibodies to defend itself. These antibodies go through the bloodstream to other structures of the body and since they are programmed to “fight”, they in turn compromise other organs and produced a number of diseases, all related to the immune system. It is like having the bloodstream overloaded with toxic waste.

This type of therapy should be supervised by a doctor or a specialist. Do not try to acquire the equipment for home use. Colon hydrotherapy should only be administered occasionally for the removal of residue and other intestinal waste. This procedure is pain-free and the nurse or doctor administering it makes sure you are comfortable during the procedure. This type of therapy is only for preventive purposes and to eliminate residue that could harm the body.

A colon hydrotherapy session along with probiotics and a healthy diet can do wonders for the immune system.
