Frank McRae — Pancreatic Cancer

Good morning,

I just spoke on messenger with my uncle in Brisbane, he is happy to share his story with you I’m pleased to say.

So, around ten years ago he was taken in to hospital where it was discovered he had a tumour at the top of his pancreas.  Luckily his surgeon decided NOT to operate as there was a chance he’d not survive if he did.   My uncle then chose to refuse chemo etc, he did not want the poison in his body.   He and my aunt started researching online and found the Budwig pages, he decided that this was for him, he’d long been an advocate of food is your medicine etc.    They stopped eating red meat but continue with white meat, chicken, turkey and fish.   They hardly ever have any alcohol, only on a rare occasion maybe a single glass of wine.

He is 91 years old and still as active as he can be.  He still has the tumour, which has been measured at around 70mm x 58mm x 45mm (he is always one to know what’s going on, inside and outside!!)  he says of the tumour “it’s quiet and peaceful”.  Put simply, he knows it is there, he lives with it, accepts it and follows his flaxseed oil and cottage cheese daily bullet shot to keep it quiet, and peaceful.    He eats a lot of vegetables, has a lot of home made soup etc, is happy and content, i’d say that’s a great result all round!!

His name is Frank McRae, he’s now in Queensland Australia.   He went out to Australia from Scotland in the 1960s and worked very hard initially up in the Northern Territory.     During the 70s his parents went to visit him and cyclone Tracy hit Darwin, his mother, (my grandmother) was a long serving member of the Red Cross and immediately set up a soup kitchen at my uncle’s worksheds (as his home had been relatively untouched), they set about organising and helping friends and neighbours to the best of their ability.   there’s a gene of stubborness and ‘let’s get it done’ in this lineage… I hope I can follow in their footsteps with a long healthy life too 🙂

Best regards

Fiona McRae
